Landscapes of BC

Landscape inspires many of my paintings and I frequently draw on my surroundings in coastal British Columbia. I am especially intrigued by the point of friction between built and natural environments.

“I absorb and internalize what is around me - cities, landforms, people. The paintings and drawings emerge as a combination of observation and imagination. Whether realistic or almost abstract, my goal is always to evoke emotion and response from the viewer.”
